Change Please Ireland Update 🇮🇪 Thanks to our ongoing partnership with Nespresso UK, and their donation, we are continuing to work towards launching our first Barista Training Programme in Dublin. As part of this continued growth in Ireland we are delighted to become members of Dublin Chamber, with Alpana Delaney (Head of Programmes IRE & NI) being an elected member for Chamber Council, serving on the Sustainability & Infrastructure Taskforce. As a Dublin Chamber member we have the opportunity to engage with professionals from a range of industries, and have a say in shaping policies that affect your industry. Global Annual Report 2024 – Highlights from Europe With 4,500 people based in 130 offices across 34 countries, our region is working towards creating a better tomorrow for the industry we work in. Europe’s highlights from 2024: ▪️ RLB UK was recognised as a Top Employer for the 18th year running by the Top Employers Institute and we maintained our Investors in People Gold standard, which we have held since 2012. ▪️ Expanded our service reach across the UK and Europe with the opening of three new offices in Newcastle, Edinburgh and Amsterdam. ▪️ Achieved EcoVadis silver status for our ESG performance for the third year in a row. ▪️ The number of trees planted for the RLB Forest reached 2,725 trees, keeping us on track to achieve our target of 10,000 trees planted by 2030. ▪️ Colleagues in our UK offices recorded 4,434 hours of voluntary work for a wide range of deserving causes and raised more than £45,000 for charity. As the charity sector approaches new deadlines for sustainability reporting, there is a valuable opportunity to proactively prepare for the future. It is crucial that charities ensure their work not only benefits the world but is also conducted in a sustainable manner. Charities interact with property in a variety of ways, whether as occupants of office, retail, or industrial spaces, or as investors. Many charities use leased shops to raise awareness for their cause and generate income through the sale of donated goods. Additionally, properties may be owned or leased to support community or charitable activities. With the changing legislative landscape, property management in the charity sector will be impacted in various ways. Sustainability reporting and transparency can offer numerous advantages for charities, such as demonstrating organizational values to funders, improving bid proposals, increasing operational efficiency, and fostering partnerships with corporate entities.
