The Prosegur ChangeGroup team were in Riyadh last week for the 2024 ACI World - Airports Council International WAGA! Our CEO, Sacha Zackariya, took to the stage to discuss growing airport revenues with currency exchange, tax refunds & ATMs. During the session, Sacha detailed how Prosegur ChangeGroup, with its vast cash notes handling capability in its parent company amounting to $0.53 trillion per year, can significantly contribute to airport revenue growth - emphasising the need for airports to think strategically when considering the placement and expansion of bureaus and ATMs within their premises. A number of delegates also reached out to discuss more about the multi award winning book “Leading Travel & Tourism Retail” which Sacha has just written and is available from Amazon and all good book shops. Our thanks go out to ACI for hosting a brilliant event! #ACIWAGA #CurrencyExchange #AirportRevenue

In a world where airports globally have embraced the Emirates ID as a valid proof of residency, it's interesting to note that First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) still requires its customers to visit the branch to present their original passport for basic services like adjusting credit card limits. In an era where processes are designed to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer experience, this approach might seem counterintuitive. It would be great to see FAB align with the convenience and efficiency offered by the global recognition of Emirates IDs, making banking even smoother for its customers. #CustomerExperience #EfficiencyInBanking 🌍🏦✨

Building Logistics & Supply Chain Teams Globally through 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥𝙨. 𝙄𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣. 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙨. | Executive Head Hunter
𝐃𝐗𝐁 𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐨 Air Cargo through DXB have increased 45% compared to January 2023, mainly in FMCG, Electronics and Fashion verticals. The recent surge has created a 48-hour embargo within the Dnata Terminal to clear the cargo build up. Some have said the red sea issues have caused the increase where businesses have re-routed through airfreight - do you agree, and if so, is this just a temporary increase? How will Dubai’s project for the expansion of DWC airport solve this, with plans to become the world’s largest global gateway? DWC is half the distance to the Port of Jebel Ali, and the route is far less busy, making the placement ideal for the efficient movement of goods. After the project is completed, DWC is predicted to service between 12-15 million tonnes of cargo per year (3 times greater than Hong Kong Airport serviced during 2023). In April 2024, the Dubai Government approved plans for an impressive new passenger terminal at DWC, with an estimated cost of around $35 billion. This terminal will be a game-changer, capable of handling a staggering 260 million passengers annually, making it the largest in the world. • Capacity: 260 million passengers per year - the highest in the world. • Area: 70 km² (5 times larger than DXB) • Runways: 5 • Boarding gates: 400 DWC would feature an automated people mover system for passengers, and an integrated landside transport hub for roads, Metro, and city air transport. DXB will continue to operate as a hub within 10 years that DWC is being built. It will serve 100 million+ passengers and then will be closed. Plans are underway to build an entire city for 1 million people around the new airport. It will host the world's leading logistics and air transport companies. Demand is expected to reach 100,000+ properties over the next decade. Property prices in Dubai South will increase and grow faster when the airport is redeveloped. #AlMaktoumAirport #DubaiSouth #PropertyInvestment #RealEstateMarket #DubaiRealEstate
