Together with Paramount, we have just launched the World Mental Health Day Community Fund, a new multi-region mental health and well-being focused community fund. The initiative, which is funded by Paramount, will support communities to start or expand projects that positively impact mental health and well-being. With grants of up to $2,000 available, the World Mental Health Day Community Fund will support up to 200 community projects across 10 countries (the UK, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Mexico, Argentina, Germany, Netherlands, France and Chile). The fund is part of Paramount’s ongoing commitment to foster awareness and support mental health and well-being around the world. Communities can apply for funding until September 22, to encourage action to commence on World Mental Health Day on October 10. Through our ongoing partnership with The LEGO Foundation, we launched the International Day of Play Community Fund in May to support as many children as possible to engage in creative play on the first ever International Day of Play on June 11…and beyond. Nearly 300 projects received funding across 6 countries (Denmark, Mexico, South Africa, the UK, Ukraine and the United States), benefitting more than 30,000 children so far. As these play projects have come to life, driven by community changemakers with a passion for play, we have seen the real impact in communities across the world.
