Value-Driven Model - Risk Reward Ratio: - Consider actors, roles, trust boundaries, entry points, trust levels, data classification, CWE/CVSS, attack scenarios, attack profiles, diagrams, business value, and tech stack. Customizable Approach: - Tailor threat modeling based on specific needs. - Identify key personnel for data pointers. - Keep the end goals in mind. Continuous Improvement: - Cultivate a learning culture from mistakes. - Capture insights in notes and tables. - Derive values and identify pain points and value creators. Speed and Scale: - Prioritize speed and scalability in threat modeling. - Emphasize internal assessments and validate outcomes. The Four Questions Framework: - Implement a robust evaluation framework. - Assess: "Did we do a good job?" - Stretch goals, revise, add components, and scope as needed. Assurance and Measurement: - Focus on assurance by detecting and correcting mistakes. - Ensure accuracy, accountability, and measure outcomes.
