One of the worst aspects of selling on marketplaces is the loss of the consumer relationship. Sellers pay anywhere from 5% (thanks Shein) to 25% for a sale in the marketplaces. And the marketplaces forbid the merchant from marketing to the consumer. And so your CAC for a consumer continues to rise when you pay to acquire them multiple times through the marketplaces. Customer Generated Offers enable you to capture the customer TODAY and remarket to them as YOUR customer - not the marketplace customer Sustainable Profitable Growth is predicated on retaining at least 60% of your customers year over year. Retaining them via a marketplace exposes them to being captured by a competitor or not repurchasing at all.
