As the concept of #EV shifts from futuristic to everyday, the focus on the necessary infrastructure—specifically, #evcharging stations—has taken center stage. At first glance, deploying chargers across the landscape seems a simpler task than engineering the vehicles themselves. However, the recent shake-up with Tritium, an EV charging firm, unveils a different narrative: having the tech and financial clout is not a surefire path to dominance in the market. While the intricacies of Tritium's troubles aren't fully known to me, my longstanding observation of the EV charging sector suggests that the stumbling block isn't rooted in #technology or #capital. The crux of the matter lies in the #businessmodel. There might be a code to mastering the EV charge market, and I believe I’m close to cracking it. Watch for the deep dive into the EV charging business in my newsletter next week, where we'll dive into the strategy that could energize the industry. https://lnkd.in/eraT4ph7

🚗⚡️ Just stumbled upon the hilarious 2023 Super Bowl ad for the Ram 1500 REV – "Premature Electrification." This commercial is a clever dive into the concerns Americans have about going #electric, poking fun at range anxiety, and reliability worries that still hold sway in the U.S. market. Despite the humour, it highlights something real: #EV adoption in the U.S. has been cautious compared to other regions. Where some markets are accelerating at full speed, the U.S. consumer base is, let's say, still revving up. This isn't just about range; it's about culture, infrastructure, and trust in a very new way of powering our #transport. It's a reminder that the shift to EVs isn’t just a technological leap but a cultural one, too. Will the U.S. catch up with #electrification as range and charging infrastructure improve? Let's see if ads like these help ease them out of "premature" skepticism! In one of my recent discussion, I got across of one interesting problem statement about self managed electric vehicle charging station installed in parking. Problem: People park vehicle over free placed dedicated for EV vehicle charging, thus it causing issue of charging cannot use to it full extent. Solution expected: No human intervention should be needed, still we solution should help get rid of above problem. Any ideas are welcome. Please pass it to relevant people.

Following on from our first post about our 'micro EV' project, here is our next video which uncovers how the power train of the car works, in our case with brushed DC motors and an H-Bridge drive. Real EV's have different motors and drive trains but many of the principles are the same. I hope this is interesting and let me know what you feel about the technical depth - is this too high level?!
