Interview processes should be 2 weeks with 3 rounds. NOT 3+ months with 5+ rounds. Thoughts?

I definitely agree. When a company knows exactly what they are looking for in a candidate, it does not take that long. Anything over four rounds of interviews, is not worth the candidates time

I would push back only on the amount of rounds - an interview process should be two rounds - 1 round with the hiring manager, 1 round with a direct supervisor and any other key leadership the candidate will work with. An interview is to match personalities and expand one what you have in a resume/CV, a potential cover letter. Plus they could have a good presence here on LinkedIn or a portfolio.
