In less than 15 years we have made monumental advances in eco-friendly technology, with even bigger leaps just within the horizon. Clinging to fossil fuels as the primary source of energy is ridiculous considering that there is no salvaging their condition, they are pollutants, they are poison to our environment and (of course) to ourselves. We will possibly always require them to some extent, but the point is to minimize their use. Renewable energies have their issues, but the technology is evolving and becoming more and more environmentally friendly, that is after all their purpose. Renewable energy technology is versatile, and all it takes is a bit of ingenuity and a bit of getting used to them to cross a threshold into a new and better era of technology for humanity, to improve human condition by striving for balance with our planet, balance with that which we and all creatures in our world require for life.

I would appreciate some advice. Should I learn Python or C++ as someone who is in 3D animation and wants to learn Unreal Engine. I know Maya uses Python but not sure if it also uses c++ but I also need to learn Unreal engine. Should I learn both Python and C++?

A genuine question and point for discussion, to all professionals in the animation and film industry. What makes a cult classic? What elements, do films that have been initially panned by critics and audiences, and which later become classics in their own right, have?

In remembrance of my father Charles Stewart Veiman Quinn. Died October 12, 2004. A Forestry engineer, he lived most of his adult life in Costa Rica, and held a profound love for the jungles of Costa Rica and Latin America in general and their culture. He taught me to love nature, something which has marked me and my sisters, and every day the memories of the tropical canopy, call out to me. A flawed man, I remember him by the stories that those who knew him told of him, as he seemed to walk in the jungle as if he had been born and made by it. May he rest in peace, wandering the eternal jungles, where his soul belongs.
