Lhyfe | Sheffield Lhyfe has six hydrogen production sites across Europe currently under construction, along with its inaugural plant in Pays de La Loire. #Lhyfe aims for its production capacity to reach up to 22 tonnes of green hydrogen per day by the end of 2024 and up to 80 tonnes per day by 2026. Sheffield is also the base of UK's ITM power, themselves looking to build a second gigafactory for electrolyser production The UK Government has doubled its low-carbon hydrogen production target from 5GW to 10GW by 2030, aiming for at least half of this coming from green hydrogen.
