We get a lot of new customers come to us when they've been involved in a scam or email phishing attempt. So we've put some information together to help people learn what to look for in an email, and most importantly how to tell if it is fake or genuine. https://lnkd.in/eVCkknwP

A massive congratulations to Jo-Anne Shellum for winning charity of the year at the Birmingham Awards this year! Her charity, Noah's Star, does fantastic work supporting families of premature and sick babies within the West Midlands. As well as that, she also provides Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training courses at the discounted cost of £250 per person, with profits from the delivery of that course being used to fund the support provided by Noah’s Star.
On Saturday Noah’s Star won Charity of the Year at Birmingham Awards. I’m still in complete shock but so proud and honoured to receive this award. We have a great team of volunteers that support families of premature and sick babies and children on a daily basis. They are just absolutely amazing.

Another home business customer, they were having a few issues with the performance of their PC which was pretty high spec. In this case it was a variety of contributing factors one of them requiring a RAM upgrade. We carry most common items with us so we can perform the upgrades on site and not need to come back for another visit, saving everyone time and money.

One of our domestic customers showed us this laptop of theirs which had a cracked screen while we were on site sorting another issue. It was actually a decent spec laptop, so we gave them a quote to get it repaired and it's looking good as new. We don't like wasting good technology so were pleased they decided to get it repaired and not just let it end up on the scrap heap.

More Windows blue screen issues, also called the Blue Screen of Death (BSoD). This was an issue with the system files and in under an hour we were able to resolve this and get the PC back up and running again.

Here we have a computer that is ready for take off. It's very old and basically worn out, so will need to be replaced to not sound like a rocket.

One of our domestic customers was having an issue with their home PC, frustrated it was performing so slowly. Here we can see why, the hard drive is constantly at 100% usage, this can happen with older machines, and while there are some software things you can try, they very rarely work, or work for a short period of time. The best long term solution is to get the hard drive replaced with an SSD drive, which basically means everything will run faster.

This iMac has been gradually getting slower over the years with all the updates that have been installed. As long as they aren’t too old, they are still good viable machines if they get an SSD upgrade, which basically helps make them load everything faster. We still use a 2015 model.
