Today let God's light shine through you as He advances you into prominent places. Let people see the moral excellence and praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds that God produces through you. Then humanity will recognize, honor, praise, and glorify God and His Son Jesus Christ. May the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit be your delight and your heart’s desire. May you say today, "Lord, I am who you say that I am. I have what you say that I have. I can, and I will, do what you declare that I can do." -Adapted from the declaration Who Am I? by Charlie Lewis. Check out Ken’s newest blog post, “Ways to become a disciple of Jesus:” In my previous blog entry, I wrote about how there are no excuses for not living for Jesus. We are all good at making excuses, but they all stink. It’s like the old saying, excuses are like armpits. Everyone has them and they all stink. The question now is, how can we grow in the Lord and totally commit our lives to Jesus. In other words, truly become disciples of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. SCRIPTURE READING FROM TODAY - JULY 3, 2024 Scripture Reading Ephesians 2:19-22 You are no longer aliens or foreign visitors: you are citizens like all the saints, and part of God’s household. You are part of a building that has the apostles and prophets for its foundations, and Christ Jesus himself for its main cornerstone. As every structure is aligned on him, all grow into one holy temple in the Lord; and you too, in him, are being built into a house where God lives, in the Spirit.
