The salary ranges I continue to see on LinkedIn relative to their job scope are appalling. If employers have given up on benchmarking data and have decided to put their finger in the air and say “this feels right” relative to their budget, that was their first mistake. The market dictates compensation- it’s about paying for the role- not fitting into a budget or person just so it makes you feel comfortable with the bottom line. Burnout is real- and so is being underpaid. I won’t return to an in house role unless the price is right- and from what I’m seeing, everyone is looking for a discount I’m not onboard with. #compensation #humanresources #education #careers #motivation
