Even though our engagement and wedding rings are forever pieces of jewellery, they’re not supposed to be worn 24/7 . And this is defiinitely the case if you have a softer metal or stone! I do believe that the jewellery that you wear should be designed with your lifestyle in mind though, so before you buy your next piece of jewellery comment below what you have in mind so that I can give you some guidance on what stones and metals will work for you! #jewellerycare #finejewellery #luxuryjewellery

The passion for collecting in you is awakened? A beautiful object usually does not let us rest. The same goes for jewellery: when we get excited, we simply want more. A ring or a pendant in bright blue and a guilloche pattern simply demands more. Maybe not to wear them together all the time. If you feel like it, combine the individual pieces as you like. Anything goes - as long as it creates a beautiful effect. Just give it a try. #highjewelry #finejewellery #finejewelry #highjewellery

A flower in her hair and the ring on her finger. Jewellery is so versatile and for the creative woman there are a thousand ways to express herself through jewellery. It can become a daily mediation: the conscious choice of jewellery, its combinations and the inclusion of the current mood. Jewellery is its own language. And here, too, one can achieve virtuosity. Everything is allowed - but not boredom. Life is too short for that, isn't it? #highjewelry #finejewellery #finejewelry #highjewellery

**What Sets You Apart? ** Settings, styles, claws…it can all get a bit much when clients are thinking of their perfect bespoke piece of jewellery, but when it’s broken down, there may be a particular style they like, or they may have their heart set on a bezel setting, and from there it becomes a bit easier to form in their mind what they’re after. However, they may not have a clue what any of this even looks like! Imparting knowledge, trying to make sure that all the information and tools are available to help a client and guide them through the process is so important. Not just so that they end up with a piece they love, but so that I can make sure it’s the right piece of bespoke jewellery. https://lnkd.in/ev_SBc4U #jeweller #privatejeweller #everypiecetellsastory #sophieflanaganfinejewellery #SFFJ #bespokejewellery

If you're feeling really confused while shopping for a diamond, let me help simplify things for you. My last two posts covered two of the Four Cs—Cut and Colour. Today, let's focus on Carat. So, what does Carat mean when you see it on a certificate? Carat refers to the weight of the diamond, not its size. One carat is equal to 200 milligrams. But here’s the kicker—two diamonds of the same carat weight can look very different in size depending on their cut. For example, a poorly cut 1-carat diamond can look smaller than a well-cut 0.9-carat diamond. Carat weight significantly affects the price of the diamond. Larger diamonds are rarer, which makes them more valuable. However, the price per carat increases as you go up in carat weight. So, a 2-carat diamond will be more than twice the price of a 1-carat diamond of the same quality. Here’s a fun fact: The term "carat" comes from the carob seed. Ancient gem traders used these seeds as counterweights on their balance scales because of their fairly uniform weight. Who knew, right? When you're shopping for a diamond, it’s essential to find a balance between carat weight and the other Cs—Cut, Colour, and Clarity. Sometimes a slightly smaller diamond with an excellent cut will look more brilliant and beautiful than a larger diamond with a poor cut. And remember, the goal is to find a diamond that suits your taste and budget. Don’t get too hung up on carat weight alone. If you need any help with your jewellery needs, feel free to get in touch. I'm here to help! Thanks, James #DiamondCarat #DiamondBuying #JewelleryAdvice #FourCs #JewelleryExpert #DiamondEducation #JewelleryTips #ExpertInsight #CaratWeight #GetInTouch
