A relentless focus on outcomes was one of the success factors identified by Bent Flyvberg in his brilliant book on mega-projects “How big things get done”. Proteus have been applying this to drive the success of big projects and business transformation for 25 years.
The weakest link? Outcome Chains act as a strategic guide to help us examine the connection between our actions and goals, challenging assumptions and highlighting potential issues. In this series of visuals, we've shared some key points to consider when using Outcome Chains.

I think stroke counts are a very powerful tool for change. HOWEVER, the devil is always in the detail, and how they’re used makes all the difference. Using stroke counts in freestyle and backstroke is going to be pretty different. Same concepts, different application. The ‘range’ of effective stroke counts in freestyle is a lot bigger than in backstroke. Really low stroke counts don’t work so well in backstroke, yet can be great in freestyle. We can still look for progress in the sets we design, but how we design them and what performances we look for will change due to the context. Like every other tool, the strategies are as important as the tool itself. To learn how to get started using stroke counts, check out my free resource. www.strokecounts.com

While we are making great progress on video generation, we need to fill them with immersive audio. Our recent work, FoleyGen, takes visual conditions and text prompt as inputs and generates immersive audio. The experimental results show that FoleyGen outperforms previous benchmarks across all objective metrics and human evaluations across a disparate sets of videos. 🚀 As Sora-generated videos captivate the world, one piece remains missing from the sensory puzzle: sound. 🎥➕🔉 Our recent work, 'FoleyGen', elegantly fills this void. FoleyGen achieves state-of-the-art results, providing the missing soundtrack to these silent videos and making the visuals not just seen, but heard. 🌐🎶 Check out our demo and paper: Web demo: https://lnkd.in/e9kMeHnM Paper: https://lnkd.in/eZ6YnewF

If HuggingFace openLLMLeaderboard benchmarks are public, how do you make sure that no one will use these datasets for fine-tuning and reach the top of the leaderboard? Does anyone have idea if the test sets of all the new huggingface OpenLLMLeaderboard are public or private?

Service Design Lead | Author of Navigating Service Design | Working on my 2nd book to uncover actual practice of 'service prototyping.'
Absolutely thrilled about the upcoming conversation on prototyping this Friday, 8th March! 🚀 Excited to share my experiences leveraging prototypes in the realm of service design, particularly in the following areas: 🔄**Communicating Concepts:** - How prototypes play a pivotal role in aligning stakeholders and soliciting valuable peer feedback. 💡**Idea Exploration:** - Unpacking the power of prototypes in exploring new ideas and pushing creative boundaries. 🛠️**Interaction Refinement:** - Dive into the nuances of refining existing interactions through effective prototyping methodologies. 📊**Hypothesis Testing:** - Share insights on using prototypes to test hypotheses, especially in the dynamic landscape of service design. Prototyping is a common tool when we build tangible entities, but in the case of a service where there are a combination of people and systemic level touchpoints,- how do we prototype them? Can we prototype them? Join us for a dynamic conversation where we'll explore these questions and more. Your perspectives and experiences are invaluable, so don't miss this opportunity to share and learn from the vibrant design community. 🌟 Save the date, mark your calendars, and let's shape the future of service design together! 🗓️ #Prototyping #ServiceDesign #DesignCommunity #InnovationDiscussion
Come and ask your prototyping and Service Design questions live to Juneza Niyazi during our next webinar. You can save your seat here for free: https://lu.ma/tvp6u6y1 And yes, there will be a recording 💚
