On this #HAVhope Friday, we join the American Hospital Association in bringing awareness to highlight how America’s hospitals and health systems combat violence in their workplaces and communities. Clinical leaders at Get Well have developed a framework designed to combat violence, called AWARE. The framework equips healthcare leaders with digital strategies to raise Awareness, identify early Warning signs to prevent escalation, Activate an immediate response, prompt Real-time emotional support, and Evaluate data to mitigate future risk. In collaboration with Get Well’s technology, this framework is designed to empower healthcare leaders to promote a safer care environment for all. Almost 500 #directprimarycare practices across 40 states are working with Hint Connect to bring affordable, person-centered #primarycare to employers across the nation. https://lnkd.in/gPVHZZpF I am so honored that these clinicians, who have chosen patient care as their north star, choose to work with us. At Hint Connect we try to preserve the values of #dpc in everything we do: 1. Transparency: You always know where your money is going when you work with us (clinicians do not pay to participate in our network--we charge a flat, transparent admin fee to employers) 2. Doctor-Patient Relationship: Direct care is about the relationship between the doctor and patient first; any benefits to employers stem from the foundation of this relationship 3. Keep it Local: The clinicians we work with are established small business owners in their communities Thanks to all the DPCs and employers that trust us to connect care. 🙏 Hint Health #employeebenefits #hintconnect

📢 AHANA is dedicated to advocating for allied health assistants (AHAs)! Recently, we provided feedback on the "Unleashing the Potential of our Health Workforce – Scope of Practice Review." This review aims to break down barriers preventing health professionals from working to their full potential. Our feedback focussed on: 1. Exploring and addressing barriers for primary health care professionals. 2. Showcasing effective multi-disciplinary teams. 3. Proposing flexible funding models. 4. Improving referral pathways and communication through technology. 5. Enabling AHAs to perform specific activities with better infrastructure support. Our feedback emphasised the need for clarity and recognition of AHA skills, advocating for: · Inclusion of AHA skills in national frameworks. · Independent leadership for framework implementation. · Legislative reforms to optimise AHA roles. · Voluntary certification to professionalise AHAs without restrictive legislation. We're committed to enhancing AHA integration in healthcare teams for better outcomes. #AlliedHealth #HealthcareAdvocacy #AHANA #ScopeofPracticeReview #PrimaryCare #MembersFirst Susan Nancarrow Andy Richardson Tara Intarapanya Kirra Hennessey Annette Davis Nerida Volker Lucy Whelan Benjamin Turnbull Kelli Rixon Breanna Lowe Allied Health Professions Australia Mark Cormack Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care Lauren Schneider https://lnkd.in/gMXErttH

Ever wonder who the real rockstars of the healthcare world are? Spoiler alert: it’s not the stethoscope-wielding Elvis impersonator. It’s the healthcare workers, folks! We’re the ones doing the medical Macarena while juggling responsibilities like it’s a talent show. Think of us as your medical mood boosters – prescribing laughter and TLC alongside the pills. We may not have a sitcom, but our daily rounds could rival any sitcom script. Life-saving with a side of humor – because healing works better with a dose of entertainment! . . . . . #warehouselife #safetyandhealth #occupationalhealth #healthcareproviders #healthcaremanagement #employmentscreening #employersolutions #workplaceprotection #workplacetesting #occupationalhealthservices #healthcareprovider #healthcareprofessionals #substanceabuse #workplacesafety #employeewellbeing #philadelphia #pennsylvania #homecare #personalcare #qualitycare #qualitylife

Collaboration, collaboration, collaboration. 🤝 Let's talk about it in the healthcare system.... As healthcare workers, we all have the common goal of improving health outcomes for our patients. But let's be real, sometimes we can get caught up in competing with each other instead of working together. Each department has its unique role and we can't progress without one another. Why not embrace collaboration and see the amazing results it can bring?✨ Together, we can achieve so much more and promote health more effectively and efficiently📌 Let's put our egos aside and join forces for the greater good💪 HealthForAll Initiative For Community Health #CollaborationIsKey #TeamWorkMakesTheDreamWork #HealthPromotionGoals Video Credit goes to the creator!
