From the whimsical realms of imagination to the silver screens of our world, Star Wars has captivated hearts and minds for generations.   🚀 Did you know that the origins of Star Wars Day trace back to a simple pun? The classic phrase "May the Force be with you" transformed into "May the Fourth be with you," initiating an annual celebration embraced by fans worldwide. It is a testament to the power of storytelling and the enduring spirit of community.   🛣️ However, on Star Wars day, as we take pride in lightsabers and droids, let us not forget about the roads that connect us all. Just like a Jedi master guides with their wisdom, roads serve as pathways for progress and connection. Adaptability is for all ages: when experience faces uncertainty and ambiguity..... You could be mistaken for thinking that change is a young person's game... We hear that the older you get, the more you become: • tired • rigid • immovable In this clip, Chad Smith listens to a drumless track for the first time and then grabs the sticks to play along within about 30 seconds and nails it. This is evidence of the application of extensive experience acquired over time: • the ability to understand the core rules (Chad did this in 15 secs: "oh it's in 3") • the confidence to dive in a give it a go (Chad starts playing 20 secs later) • the ability to deliver to a very high standard whilst making it up as he went a long So what?  Well... What if we are entering a phase of work where the opportunity for safe offline rehearsal is reduced? What if work is moving towards a continuous innovation jam session? For those of us in or entering our "more experienced" phases of our career, don't be afraid to jam, you bring a lot to your band! #adaptability (I love Chad, even with the bad language, you have been warned...)
