Curious to learn how Chef got its start? Check out this interview with our Founder Rajat Bhageria where he addresses this question and more, including how Chef is transforming the food industry and what we're aiming to achieve in the future.
Interviewing Founders Building The Next Big Thing 👇🏽
These robots will replace the most mundane tasks, such as scooping food in a tray, which should ideally be automated.
Check out the video to see how Rajat Bhageria's company, Chef Robotics, is innovating and solving a massive problem in the food industry.

Love this technique to be honest where it can save time of the the surveyors at site.
I could see this in the blockwork layout where it can download the shop drawing with the coordinates and let the machine do the work.
I would love to see this machine working in a site that I supervised so I can understand it pros and cons.
I don’t have the information of the cost involved of bringing this technology to the site but I believe that will be one of the major factors for the robots to be competitive at site.
Robotics/AI is going through a renaissance right now but the core fundamentals of sense, think, act, and communicate remain the same. Essentially with these building blocks you can build anything from robots in the kitchen to autonomous vehicles to bathroom cleaning robots to construction robotics.
I'd argue that the technical "why now" of robotics is really driven by recent technical advancements in sensing and thinking:
1) Sensors like RGBD cameras are becoming cheap, prolific, and quite good
2) There's substantially improved decision-making given new algorithms (like deep neural networks, transformers, etc.) and compute (for example, GPUs)
