October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Let’s make it a priority to raise awareness while also understanding the importance of insurance in supporting those affected. 🎗️ Breast Cancer Awareness Month is time to spread extra awareness about how breast cancer affects millions of people around the nation. This month, it is especially essential to highlight the necessity of early detection. With insurance, getting screened and treated for breast cancer can be much more affordable than it would be otherwise. The Affordable Care Act ensures women have access to recommended preventive services for breast cancer with no out-of-pocket costs when using a provider in your plan’s network. 🌸 It’s #Pinktober – Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🌸 As a breast cancer survivor, this month holds special significance for me. It’s a time to reflect, raise awareness, and most importantly, remind ourselves of the power of prevention and early detection 💗 🌸Breast cancer doesn’t discriminate – it affects so many, and early detection can make all the difference. Regular self-exams, screenings, and staying informed are essential for everyone, not just those at higher risk. 🌸I’m grateful - I survived 🙏🏾 It was not always easy and still is not, but #GivingUp has never been an option. 🌸 To be part of a workplace that truly cares, where support is more than just words can make such a big difference! E.ON created an environment that prioritized my health and well-being 💗 Together, we have to foster a culture of understanding, compassion, and action. 🌸 Let’s use this month to uplift and educate others, support survivors, and honor those we’ve lost. Early detection saves lives – let’s spread the word. 💗 🌸 #Beware: Breast-Cancer is not only for women! One in 8 women, but one in 726 men will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. Prevention is key for all of us 🌸 #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth at LinkedIn

Today, I celebrate my journey as a Breast Cancer Survivor!! On this World Cancer Awareness Day, I want to share my story not just as a survivor, but as someone who has learned the true meaning of resilience, strength, and community. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I felt a whirlwind of emotions – fear, uncertainty, and a sense of vulnerability. But through every challenge, I found hope and courage in unexpected places. What I've learned along the way: 1. **Self-Advocacy is Key**: Trust your instincts and prioritize your health. 2. **The Power of Support**: Friends, family, and even strangers became my biggest supporters. Together, we can lift each other up. 3. **Embrace Every Moment**: Life is precious. Celebrate the small victories and cherish every day. 4. **Get Tested Regularly**: Early detection truly saves lives. Make regular screenings a priority – it could make all the difference. Thank you to everyone who stood by me during this journey. Your love and encouragement made all the difference! If you or someone you know is facing cancer, remember – you are not alone. Let’s continue to raise awareness and support research for a cancer-free future. 💖 #BreastCancerSurvivor #WorldCancerDay #CancerAwareness #GetTested #Community #Hope
