🌟 Day 1 Recap: Leadership Conference 2024 🌟 Last week, we had an incredible start to our 2024 Leadership Conference! We were thrilled to welcome attendees from across the globe, including participants who flew in from as far as Japan and Kwajalein. Day 1, we heard from our department heads in the SSBU, who provided invaluable insights into their work, shared helpful resources, and highlighted upcoming events and changes. The energy and enthusiasm in the room was electric, as conference attendees connected, learned, and inspired one another. A huge thank you to everyone who made Day 1 a success! Leaders of Chenega Naswik International and Chenega Security California enjoyed an exciting team building tour of Washington, D.C. that included the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the National Museum of the American Indian, the World War II Memorial, and the Washington Monument, followed by a recognition reception and dinner. The group included Chenega's security and professional services program and project managers who support a vast array of customer agencies within the Dept of Energy, Dept of State, Dept of Interior, Dept of Homeland Security, Dept of Justice, Dept of Health and Human Services, and Dept of Defense. Chenega Security California was proud to recently celebrate two members of its Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory Protective Forces team for their contributions to the University of California, Berkeley Security and Emergency Services (SES) Division mission. Sean Diemert was recognized for exceptional leadership and dedication as a Security Supervisor, and for consistently demonstrating a strong commitment to our team and the safety of our organization. Mario Silva-Martinez was recognized for his exceptional performance and dedication to the success of our security team.
