What is KN Car Brand? Everything About KIA New Logo

About brand clarity (and why it's not as clear as some people want to let you believe) Have had a discussion with friends on the basis of the below picture. Someone thought it looked quite a bit like a Porsche... which unleashed a lot of comments. In our youth if you were a car lover the ultimate question quickly came to - are you a Porsche or a Ferrari lover. These were THE two sports cars. Yes - Lamborghini (Countach), Lotus (Esprit) Corvette and many more existed as well... but there were 2 that were most top of mind of all sports cars.. Come the beginning of the 2000's and the Cayenne came (later the Panamera, Macan and Taycan as well). And with this the brand Porsche came to stand for something different. It was no longer solely the maker of sports cars, it was now just the maker of high end cars for people with money. Like Range Rover. And this is fine.... But where it gets tricky is that Marketing wisdom is that your brand should be as singular as possible to be successful as it makes you more memorable. Also - the idea of being more exclusive should have made it more attractive to (U)HNWI's according to conventional wisdom. Porsche has done the opposite and is now more successful and profitable as a car manufacturer than it has ever been before. So maybe this conventional wisdom doesn't always track.... Maybe brand clarity and exclusivity is actually less important than a) opening up to more reasons for being used - and therefore being bought b) being on the road more, so being seen more and therefore being more top of mind. Brand clarity is great, and really important.... but not as important as a good line-up of products that greatly improves the ways in which your brand can be used by more people at more occasions. Something for agency people to take into account now & again.

This switch is doing more than just refreshing their look, it's transforming how we see the cars themselves. Suddenly, these vehicles aren't an affordable A to B; they're a modern, luxury option. This shift is a clever play in today’s fiercely competitive market, where brand loyalty and perceived value drive decisions. But what do you think? Toyota Motor Corporation ranked the world’s most valuable automotive brand by Interbrand. Cornwall Toyota Toyota Canada Inc. Toyota North America #Automotive brand value rose by 9% in the 2023 Interbrand best global brands ranking announced on November 21, with Toyota holding onto its position as the top motoring marque. In an annual survey of the world’s top 100 brands, Toyota retained its sixth overall spot in the 2023 rankings behind tech firms Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Google and Samsung. Mercedes-Benz overtook Coca-Cola to move up one spot into seventh overall and second-best automotive brand compared to last year. BMW (#10) entered the top 10 for the first time. Porsche (#47) Hyundai (#32) and Ferrari (#70) all achieved a double-digit rate of growth and accounted for three of the top five fastest-growing brands. Tesla held its position in the table this year (#12), but its rate of growth was the slowest among the automotive brands with its brand value increasing 4.0% compared to BMW and Mercedes, which grew 10.4% and 9.5% respectively. Other automotive brands in the 2023 top 100 were Honda (#27), Audi (#45), Volkswagen (#50), Ford (#51), Nissan (#63) and Kia (#88). The rise of automotive marques contrasted with many of the world's top 100 brands stagnating this year, said Interbrand. The rate of growth in the overall brand value of the table slowed sharply to 5.7% after last year's 16% increase, taking the total brand value to $3.3-trillion (about R60.7-trillion) from $3.1-trillion in 2022. The US brand consulting company Interbrand has been researching and analysing the most valuable brands in the world since 1999. The annual Best Global Brands study examines all candidates according to three criteria: financial performance of the brand's products or services, role of the brand in the purchase decision process, and strength of the brand with regards to securing the company’s future earnings.

The keys to Mercedes-Benz's brand value #success this year have been identified by Brand Finance researchers as being its adept cost control measures and a well-curated product mix, both of which have propelled its Earnings Before Interest and Taxes (EBIT) and revenues upward. However, the picture is not without its challenges. BRAND REINVENTION "Exceptional by Design." Buick's new tagline, and if you're familiar with the brand, a transformative leap forward. I always thought of Buicks as misfits within the General Motors lineup. Bit more posh than Chevy's, not as posh as Cadillacs. Certainly never known or mistaken for design excellence. The new Wildcat EV below represents "putting one's money where it's mouth is." The tagline can now withstand scrutiny; based on the brand’s commitment to design innovation in both the product and customer experiences. PS: And IMHO, infinitely cooler than anything Tesla offers.
