Psst, wanna know the truth about car dealers? I was lying on my stomach getting treated at physical therapy, and my shirt had a large More Than Cars logo on the back. “Are you a car guy?,” my therapist asked. “Not really,” I replied, “That's the title of a docuseries I’m a producer of. We go around the country and tell the truth about car dealers.” He leaned in, excited. “I wanna know the truth about car dealers.” So I told him: “The ones we work with are great businesses that take care of their customers, their employees and their community. So many of them challenge the typical car dealership stereotypes.” I could feel the letdown. “Man, I was thinking you were going to dish the tea!” Often, the truth is a lot more simple than what we can make it out to be in our heads. That’s what we’re seeing in the auto industry. Are there bad actors? Scam artists? Unsavory practices? Yes. And yet, they’re fewer and far between than they used to be. The industry and the public doesn't condone it anymore and calls it out when they see it. And even better, a new generation is rising in the auto industry. One that isn’t going to accept the adage “That’s the way we’ve always done it.” One that is going to go the extra mile for their customers. One that is going to create a healthy growing work environment for their employees. One that will sacrificially give to to their community without any expectation of return. It’s those car dealers and those stories that we’re highlighting in the More Than Cars docs-series. Season 1 is just about wrapped and we’re planning for season 2 and beyond. We've been reevaluating a lot of the content we've made in the past and determining whether or not these type of concepts or videos will make it into 2024. And the only question I continually ask myself in regard to creating content is the 'Why' of the video. Why should we create this? Why would people want to interact with this? Why does this provide value beyond just the business we are running? I love the Driver Spotlights! I know they don't get a ton of love on LinkedIn but getting engagement on this platform for these videos was never my why. The view count on our YouTube channel going up or down was never my why. The why for the Driver Spotlights has always been to showcase that these gig economy drivers are exactly the same as you and me and everyone else out there in the world. They have full-time jobs. They're retirees. They're parents. They're siblings. They have passions that this side hustle is giving them access to continue on. The relationship between customers, restaurants, and delivery drivers is forever in a state of flux. Everyone has a bad day. But everyone is also continuously doing their best to provide for themselves and find success in whatever it is they want to do. You never know when you can make a driver's day. But they know that they're making yours each and every time they drop off.

Hello, team Hero MotoCorp. I'm Govind Bhargava, approx. 5 months ago on a date 09/05/2024, I bought a Hero Xtreme 125R , engine no : (JA07AVRGD10711), Chassis number: (MBLJAU026RGD13507). I think I just got manipulated by overhyped promotions and figures. Or maybe it's just my side, that I'm facing a number of issues with the model. 1) On 18/08/2024 , my bike engine got seized on the main highway ( Amroha ), piston, crank and other parts got damaged, it just risked my life to death, as I was riding at a speed of around 70km/hr. I suffered some injuries but I'm alive thankfully. Called hero service, executives came and took it back to the service centre by pushing it from their legs with the help of another bike. Kept it for a week, and I received it after being repaired. 2) Now I'm facing the issue with the Shockers. I can't think that a new bike's Shockers can be faulty in just 4.5 months, and that on smooth operations. 3) Issue with Ignition lock and unlock and other functions. 4) Back seats shiver and make sounds while driving. 5) Due to the faulty bike, I have used all the free services, and now I would need to pay for the future services. So technically I got cheated, don't know about the others. So it had created the insecurity, disbelief and trust issues with the hero products. I was thinking to buy the other Hero products in the future, but this incident had made me to rethink my choices. And I think bike had not been tested to the standards, it just being made to advertise and make buzz. I got trapped. I request you to kindly resolve the issue and make my bike to get repaired faultlessly , safe to ride and issue free. And replace all the faulty parts after a thorough check up Or replace my bike. Or issue a Full refund of my amount. If not done promptly and in a swiftly manner. I will be compelled to take all the legal actions and remedies for the protection of consumer rights. The are asking me again to get it back there to repair it again. I'm not understanding, whether I should be doing this take it there to the service centre and get it back, with the faults. Again and again. Last time they said that now your bike had been repaired well, you're not going to face those issues. But now it's engine is still making abnormal sounds. Additionally I request you to restore me services which was meant to be used normally, but I was compelled to use them due to faulty bike.
