"Saath mein karte hain kaam"
11 years ago, I met Aditya Raj Somani (or Somani, as I call him), in the corridors of Hall 10, IIT Kanpur (apart from coming from the same area both of us were interested in films). Him being a senior, the dynamic of course revolved around 'instructing' the junior to do the 'important' tasks. But then the dynamic evolved into being co-founders when we (& others) formed the film-making group Hera Pheri Films (HPF) which eventually turned into a media house post college before being acquired by ShareChat in 2020. We produced quite a few series, films, ads and short form content at scale and in this process the dynamic of a close friend emerged.
I had drifted away from the field of media while handling product at ShareChat & after leaving ShareChat in late 2022, I worked rigorously to get the next venture Doeasily up and running but unfortunately we had to decide to close it down in a year (requires another long post ). Among other things, starting Doeasily made me realise - first, the need for a co-founder whom you know well (better if they are a close friend) and even better if similar things interest you. Second, it helped me find what I truly liked to do which was something at the nexus of media, advertising and tech.
Applied both these learnings and about 4 months ago my quest to find the perfect co-founder got over as we both got talking about working together again and said 'Saath mein kaam karte hain', everything fell in line & here I am, excited to share that I'm joining Vidrow as co-founder. Not sure what makes me happier - starting up again or starting up with a friend.
We'll lay out our future vision for Vidrow in the coming few months as we keep sharing the exciting campaigns we've been producing. Onwards & Upwards 🚀🚀.
In case you're a founder confused about where to start with your branding, launch, or performance efforts, reach out to us.

3moYour app is really pathetic. It's outdated, and every time I open it, it constantly shows pop-ups.
