SMS is still critical in fraud defense, not least because of its ubiquity, but digital wallets are coming (EU regs will drive adoption) and offer a way to radically reduce fraud. My POV: We won't need SMS in the same way, so expect those A2P SMS volumes to decline inversely proportional to wallet adoption.
