GTA Real Estate: Let's master the art of 'invisible pets' for home showings. 🐱🤫 🧡#InvisibleFurBabies. 🙈🏠 Oopsie-daisy! 😄 Your home is listed for sale, and you have pets. Well, sometimes the pets have to take a little vacation! 😅 You see, when someone wants to buy a house, the real estate agent needs to focus on showing the house. They shouldn't worry about chasing after cats or dogs in the backyard. 🙈🙉😸 Imagine this: the real estate agent is all dressed up, ready to show the house to some excited buyers. 🏡 But oh no! They open the front door, and a cute doggie or cat runs past them like lightning. 🐕💨 The real estate agent starts running around, trying to catch the dog, while the buyers wait patiently inside. 😬 It's a funny sight but not the best way to sell a house! And let's remember those people with allergies. 😷 Some people get sneezy and sniffly around pets, making them feel really uncomfortable. That's why removing pets from the home is important when it's time for a showing. 🌬️🐱🌬️🐶 So, if you have a pet and you're getting ready to show your home, it's a good idea to find a safe place for your furry friend to stay. A cozy pet hotel or with a trusted friend or family member. 🏨👨👩👧👦 That way, the real estate agent can focus on selling your home. 🌟🏠 Remember, it's all about making everyone happy and comfortable during a home showing. Let the real estate agent do their job, and your pet can have a little vacation too! 🐾🏖️ Want to find out more? DM to chat. Owning a pet can be a roller coaster. There are the highs, like when your dog greets you with a full-body wiggle when you return home, or when your cat purrs loudly as you cuddle next to one another. Then there are the lows, like stressful trips to urgent care, waking up to that unpleasant vomiting noise, or making the difficult choice to say goodbye because of medical problems or even intractable behavioral issues. Factual Friday Deep Dive: The Surprising "Pet Effect" on Home Sales 🐾🏡 In the realm of real estate, the power of pets is undeniable. A fascinating Realtor.com survey reveals that a staggering 68% of pet owners would reject their otherwise perfect home if it didn't cater to the needs of their furry, feathered, or scaled friends. This "Pet Effect" underscores the importance of pet-friendly features in a property and how they can significantly impact a buyer's decision-making process. Why It Matters: With over half of Canadian households owning pets, the demand for pet-accommodating properties is at an all-time high. Features such as secure fences, spacious yards, durable flooring, and proximity to parks or veterinary services are not just perks but necessities for pet-owning buyers. Selling Tips: Highlight Pet-Friendly Amenities: If your property boasts any pet-friendly features, make sure they're prominently mentioned in your listing. This can include anything from a built-in pet washing station to nearby dog parks. Show Don't Just Tell: Use photographs to showcase these features. A picture of a cozy nook with a pet bed or a backyard with plenty of running space can instantly appeal to pet owners. Address Common Concerns: For condo sellers, highlighting pet-friendly building policies or nearby pet services can be a significant selling point. The Bottom Line: In today's market, recognizing the value pets hold in their owners' lives can give sellers a competitive edge. By showcasing how a home can accommodate every family member, including pets, sellers tap into a passionate and substantial buyer demographic, potentially speeding up the sale and even increasing the property's appeal and value. Pets aren't just animals; they're family. And in real estate, a little pet consideration can go a long way in making a property feel like a home. #factualfriday #petfriendlyrealestate #thepeteffect #homesellingtips #canadianrealestate #gogidda4sold #royalcanadianrealty
