There is a powerful but often overlooked force in our professional lives that can propel us to success. This force is none other than consistency - the unsung hero of professional achievement. Think of consistency as a secret weapon that you can use to achieve your career goals. It's the unwavering focus on your goals as well as relentless dedication. Consistency isn't about sporadic bursts of effort; it's about showing up – day after day – regardless of the challenges that come your way. Think about the best recruiters you know and you'll realise that it's not the occasional flashes of brilliance that earn them recognition. it's the disciplined approach to their clients and candidates, and the time they take to master their role through consistency. Admittedly, there will be challenges along the way – not everything goes smoothly in our role, there are plenty of ups and downs – but a consistent approach throughout will always bring you success. So: embrace consistency as your work-life superpower. With each day of focused effort, you'll be one step closer to achieving your goals. #consistency #recruitmentcareer #recruitmentgoals #recruiter

Director of Success - Helping clients optimize recruitment processes and reduce cost through permanent and temporary staffing solutions
Recently I was asked by Sarah Chapa Foster "What does being different in the recruiting industry mean to you?" It's a great question, and I'd say it starts with a genuine desire to make a difference in peoples lives. For me, it's about throwing away the template and leaning into creating real and meaningful connections with both clients and candidates. When I meet someone I see a story waiting to unfold, not just a resume or a job description. I think it also involves leading with empathy and innovation. I approach my work at a very personal level. I get invested in the long term relationships and lasting success that good recruiting can bring into an organization. I get invested in my candidates and what motivates them to take this next step in their careers. In todays market being different isn't and option it's essential for growth and success. Focusing on a personal touch has improved my work and I have really made a lasting impact on those around me. What about you? How do you bring a unique perspective to the industry? Let's connect and share our experiences! #recruiting #motivation #bedifferent #recruitwithpurpose #relationships #success #growthmindset #mindset #positive #staffingagency

Responding to "Why do you want to work with us?" can be strategically crafted to showcase both your admiration for the company and how your personal goals align with its values and objectives. Here’s a brief explanation of an effective response: Innovation and Reputation: Highlighting the company's innovative approach and leading position in the industry not only shows that you value creativity and success but also that you're attracted to places where growth and development are prioritized. This implies a desire to be part of a forward-thinking team that invests in its employees. Impact and Growth: Expressing enthusiasm for the company’s impact in its field demonstrates your interest in contributing to meaningful work. It suggests you’re not just looking for any job but a role where you can use your skills to make a real difference, reflecting a forward-looking and ambitious mindset. Alignment of Values: Mentioning specific company values (like sustainability or diversity) and how they resonate with you indicates a deeper level of research and personal integrity. It suggests you're looking for more than just a paycheck—you're seeking a place where you can align your work with your personal ethics and beliefs. Passion for the Company’s Focus: Sharing your passion for aspects of the company’s work, such as product innovation, shows a genuine interest and enthusiasm for what the company does. It signals that you’re not just looking for any role but are specifically interested in what this company is doing and want to contribute to its initiatives. Cultural Fit and Growth Opportunity: Finally, pointing out the company’s culture and how it encourages personal growth indicates you’re looking for a place where you can not only contribute but also evolve. It shows you’re thinking about how you can fit and grow within the company, suggesting a long-term investment in your role. In short, this approach shows that you’ve done your homework, you admire the company for substantive reasons, and see a mutual benefit in your employment there. It's about aligning your skills, values, and career goals with the company's mission and culture, demonstrating a clear vision of how you can contribute and grow together. #jobsearching #jobhunting #resumetips #cv #recruiters #jobpromotion #interviewtips #interviewprep #interviewpreparation

This week, we launched a poll asking you if success is predetermined by natural gifts or the result of relentless hard work? THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR HARD WORK. That is the pulse of the majority. Yes, it's undeniable that some individuals possess innate abilities that set them apart. But talent alone isn't enough to guarantee success. It's the spark that ignites the flame, but it's the consistent effort that fuels the fire of achievement. As recruiters, we aim to look for candidates who understand the importance of both talent and hard work. Those who recognize their strengths but are also willing to roll up their sleeves and put in the work to reach their full potential. Let's #connect and continue this #conversation. #repost #share #thoughts #PositiveLinks #PositiveLinksAsia #Recruitment #Recruiter #CareerJourney #HardWork

Luck is Just a Limiting Belief !! When I first entered the recruitment industry 17 years ago, I often heard my colleagues talking about their luck being into it. I, also fell into the habit of saying things like, "No luck today on submissions," or "It’s not my lucky day." But after a few years of consistent hard work and exceptional performance, I realized that luck is simply a limiting belief. My success wasn’t about chance—it was about refining my skills, understanding my candidates and clients deeply, and continuously improving my approach. Though I entered this industry by accident, my passion for learning and dedication to excellence made me successful. Over a period of time, I became one of the top performers, consistently overachieving with my team. Luck didn’t make me successful—focus, effort, and a commitment to growth did. "Some might say that it's easy to offer advice after reaching a certain level in one's career or achieving significant milestones. However, I firmly believe that maintaining the right attitude, upholding ethical standards, and commitment towards continuous learning are the keys to success. Don't work just to appear busy—focus on genuine effort, and you will create your own luck." Happy Working!! 💼 💼 #PreetiSingh #Recruitment #Staffing

Stability issues might raise concerns, but it’s important to approach the conversation with an open mind. Every candidate has a unique story, and there might be valid reasons behind their job history. Start with curiosity and ask thoughtful questions. 2. Transparency and Honesty: Address the stability issue directly but with empathy. Be clear about why it’s a concern for the role and the organization. This transparency builds trust and sets the stage for a productive dialogue. 3. Assess the Context: Look beyond the resume. What were the circumstances of each transition? Was the candidate pursuing new opportunities, or were there external factors? Understanding the context can help differentiate between instability and adaptability. 4. Evaluate Growth and Learning: Stability isn’t just about staying in one place—it’s about growth and development. Focus on what the candidate has learned from their experiences and how they’ve applied those lessons. This can provide insights into their resilience and potential. 5. Consider the Role’s Requirements: Some roles require long-term commitment, while others benefit from diverse experiences. Align the candidate’s history with the needs of the position. If there’s a fit, their varied background could be an asset. 6. Provide Constructive Feedback: If the stability issue is a deal-breaker, offer constructive feedback. Help the candidate understand how they can better position themselves in the future. This leaves a positive impression and supports their career journey. In today’s dynamic job market, traditional notions of stability are evolving. HR professionals must adapt by balancing caution with compassion, ensuring that every candidate is evaluated fairly and with an understanding of their unique path. #HR #Recruitment #TalentAcquisition #CandidateExperience

I had to remove my earlier post that included pictures of the candidate. She politely requested that the photo be removed because her employer might see it. ❤️ Giving feedback to every candidate is my number one priority. This is where the true heart of recruiting lies—delivering feedback. Candidates deserve to know why they weren’t chosen and how they can improve. It’s about supporting people in their career journeys. Recruiting is more than a career for me—it’s a way to touch lives and make a difference, one candidate at a time. Every feedback session is an opportunity to impact someone’s career and life. Knowing I can play a small part in someone’s success story is the most rewarding feeling in the world. Building relationships, guiding people, and helping them grow is why I love recruiting. Every success reaffirms my passion and commitment to this incredible journey. #Recruiting #Feedback #CareerJourney
