One thing I've never really understood is multiple CIO's working for the same business but in different countries. Surely each country will have their own market nuances, which will in turn alter the objectives, which will then make it really difficult to pull it all together at a 'Group' level. Surely the Group has common objectives but CIO's in different countries will have different motivations. I'm not saying it's wrong by the way... just never understood it.
