Join me on a scenic journey through Heisler Park in Laguna Beach, California, not just to admire its stunning beauty but to delve into the essence of building meaningful communities. Here’s a simple idea you can implement today. Isolation and loneliness has lingered beyond the pandemic and the need for genuine community has never been more important. Inspired by my friend, coauthor, and fellow coach, Steve Hernandez, the video explores creating a personal board of directors. Imagine choosing five individuals you wish to connect with more deeply. The twist? Reflect on what you can offer them. This redefines networking, focusing on building relationships through generosity. So, who would you choose for your personal advisory board? And crucially, what value can you offer them? Watch this short video and take in the breathtaking landscapes of Heisler Park and consider a new idea to build your community. #BuildCommunity #ExecutiveCoaching #PersonalBoardof Advisors

Building strong in-person connections is more important than ever. Last week The Advance held an amazing event in Boca Raton, Florida alongside our Legacy Leaders. The event was filled with lively conversations Unique experiences Eight and nine-figure CEO presentations Strong connection building and so much more So many things are uncertain right now, especially in business. If you want to grow your business to the next level and build a foundation that will last, you need to build your network. What does having a strong network look like? → It’s having like-minded people that support and elevate your new ideas → It’s having someone who has been through what you are going through and can help you navigate it → It’s knowing that when things get rocky and the economy is at a low, you still have people who support you and understand what you are going through. → It’s being with people you genuinely like and want to spend time with who interest you. And there is so much more that a solid community can bring you… if you put in the time and effort to build these relationships. Our Boca Raton trip is not the only one we will be hosting, in fact, this is just the beginning. We called in Industry City CEOs, head honcho-types, business owners, and entrepreneurs for a new type of event… After hearing from business leaders on campus, we learned they were not only interested in building community with others but were in need of professional resource sharing and ideas. So we hosted a happy hour - and while everyone mingled, we facilitated interactive ways for them to ask for support from other leaders and provide guidance to one another. Many tenants are heads-down in their work, finding it hard to stop and socialize with other folks in our community. Through hosting an intentional gathering, we saw meaningful connections being built in real-time. 📈 It was community in action and we were honored to help facilitate the moment. We can't wait to watch how this cohort of business leaders impacts Brooklyn and beyond. We look forward to hosting more tenant events like this in the future. If you’ve engaged with interesting group prompts or networking activities - feel free to drop ideas below.👇 To learn more about joining our community of tenants, check out our website. https://lnkd.in/eAJ22mGs #IndustryCity #ProfessionalGrowth #Networking #WorkEnvironment #BusinessLeaders
