🌟New ACG Guidelines Update on H. Pylori Tx🌟 The American College of Gastroenterology now recommends: ✅ First-line Therapy: Bismuth Quadruple Therapy (14 days) for treatment-naive patients, and those who failed to eradicate H. pylori with PPI-clarithromycin triple therapy. due to rising antibiotic resistance. ✅ Alternatives: Rifabutin triple therapy and PCAB-Amoxicillin dual therapy are acceptable alternatives, though based on moderate-low quality evidence. 💡PPI-clarithromycin triple therapy should not be used unless antibiotic sensitivity has been performed and demonstrated clarithromycin-sensitivity.
