-I'm playing Frodo. -Gandalf the Grey -Galadriel -Pippin -Sam -Strider / Aragorn -Merry -Boromir -Gollum... Sm��agol -The rehearsal process has been a lot of fun and also very inspiring to get into character. -It's exhilarating and it's fun, and everyone is so supportive. -There's a lot of Lord of the Rings fans in the room, and so there's a lot of walking up and being like, "Do you like Lord of the Rings?" "Do you? Oh, my God!" And it's just great because we're all so thrilled to be here. It's an incredible honor for Chicago to be the launch point for the US premiere. But of course, the work itself, The Lord of the Rings, is a worldwide, iconic, beloved piece of art. The superfans, they're gonna get all the great things that they love, or if you know nothing about it, at its core, it is a very human story that we can all relate to. -The music is so beautiful and so huge. -It drives the beauty and the characters. It bridges and it takes you from one chapter to the next so beautifully. -We get this aesthetic that the Hobbits are making this show together, like they're the ones who are putting it on for us. -It's kind of like you're sitting around a campfire and we're telling you the story of The Lord of the Rings. And with this ensemble cast, that's just incredible. People are not ready. You guys aren't ready. You're not ready! -Anytime that you get to be a part of a show that is new is such a gift. Audiences here are going to love it.
