AI Tips for Leaders & Owners 1. Encourage your employees to use AI and share Foster a culture of collaboration where employees are excited to experiment with AI. When they discover new efficiencies or ways AI enhances their work, encourage them to share these successes with the whole company. This not only spreads knowledge but also inspires others to adopt AI in their roles. 2. Create an internal list of best practices Develop clear guidelines around AI use, including recommending a few trusted tools and identifying which tools or actions to avoid. For example, specify approved AI platforms for tasks and establish boundaries like not inputting sensitive data into any AI tool. This ensures safe and productive AI use. 3. Invest in training Proper training leads to significantly better results. Those who receive structured AI training outperform those relying solely on self-learning. What common pitfalls do you face in AI usage? What else would you add to the list? 1. Underestimating the data preparation: AI thrives on data. Neglecting to clean, organize, and standardize your data will stifle the potential of your AI systems. 2. Expecting instant results: AI is a powerful tool, but it's not magic. Patience and iterative refinement are key to successful implementation. 3. Ignoring ethical considerations: From privacy issues to bias in decision-making, AI applications carry an ethical weight that can't be overlooked. 4. Neglecting staff training: Incorporating AI into your business isn't just a technical shift—it's a cultural one. Your team needs to understand how to use and benefit from these tools. 5. Forgetting about maintenance: AI systems require ongoing care. The world and the data it produces are constantly changing, and so should your AI. Avoid these common pitfalls to unlock the true potential of AI in your business. Remember, AI is only as good as the strategy and care behind its implementation. Everyone thinks AI is just about efficiency and speed. But I see AI transforming empathy in business. Here's how: In today's world, AI models can read emotions in real-time. They analyse customer interactions across all channels. This means businesses can understand their customers better. No more generic responses. Imagine a customer upset about a delayed order. Instead of a standard apology, AI detects the frustration and offers a personalised solution. This shifts the approach from reactive to proactive. But there's a challenge. Companies need to evolve fast. It's not enough to just detect emotions. They must humanise these insights. Empathy can't be just a tech buzzword. It must be actionable. Here's what businesses need to focus on: 1. Real-Time Emotional Insights - Use AI to understand customer emotions instantly. - Adapt responses based on emotional data. - Ensure every interaction feels personal and genuine. 2. Training and Development - Train staff to interpret AI insights effectively. - Foster a culture of empathy in the workplace. - Equip teams with the tools to act on emotional data. 3. Continuous Improvement - Regularly update AI models for accuracy. - Gather feedback to refine emotional detection. - Stay ahead with the latest advancements in AI. AI is revolutionising customer interactions. But the real magic happens when businesses humanise these insights. Empathy must be at the core. It's time to move beyond tech buzzwords. Make empathy a genuine, actionable strategy.

I am reading through an article “Customer service powered by AI.” The first thing that came to my mind when I saw the request. I met an IT executive sometime back and discussed the problem and solution. How an NLP solution has solved the workforce training problem. Here is the breakdown. For an organization onboarding a customer service executive and retaining the talent is a big task. In organizations where job switches are often, onboarding is a big problem. The problem split is like this. 1. Onboarding an employee. 2. Training the individual. 3. Making the individual productive and efficient, In a short time, frame. All the above needs a good amount of time and money. Instead of taking the route, the Bank has switched to AI. Model: 1. Using RNN for speech recognition and sentiment recognition. 2. NLP suggesting possible solutions. Training: 1. Input the recorded conversations to the AI model. 2. Extract a summary of the conversation. 3. From the recorded conversations a. List of Frequently asked questions, answers, and customer ratings. b. Pick the answers that have good customer ratings. Deployment: 1. Print the list of questions and answers and place them close to a new employee. 2. This helps new team members get familiarized with the work. What do you say, please comment. Innovation: Let NLP-powered BOT answer the questions, if the customer is not satisfied transfer the call to someone.
