Child Advocates Of Fort Bend’s Post

Our toys aren’t just toys, they are tools with a purpose. We’re resetting our play therapy rooms because an organized space promotes calmness and a sense of wellbeing. Consistency is critical for the children we serve. Often, there are inconsistencies in other areas of their lives and when they come to therapy, it is very important for the rooms to be the exact same for every session. They will notice if something is out of place, and it can hinder their healing process. As you are out and about this week pay attention to how your surroundings affect how you are feeling. When you walk into your home do you feel calm and serene or heavy and chaotic? Are you in need of a reset?
