Is it fair to charge Extra for the tools that people with disabilities need to live Independently? 🤔💸♿ To truly create an inclusive world, we should first work on removing GST and other Taxes on essential items like Wheelchairs and other assistive devices. Making these necessary tools more affordable is a critical step towards empowering people with disabilities. It is unfair have to pay Extra, Just because they are disabled and they need those assistance devices to live like others.

There is a marked difference between the judiciary and the government in dealing with disabled persons. I have several writ petitions in Delhi High Court seeking implementation of provisions of “Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016”. My experience has been that the government would try to find ways to avoid such implementation or at least to drag it out to the utmost extent. Whereas, the judges would be impressively proactive in getting to see that the assistance and facilities provided under the law for disabled persons get implemented when brought to their notice. #disability #ministryofsocialjustice #government #disabilities #court #judge #law #judiciary

Imagine a world where some people are forced to work without pay, where they don't have the freedom to make choices or be with their families. Today we remember the bravery of those who have stood up against slavery, and the importance of us continuing to do this today. We celebrate the fact that slavery is illegal in most places around the world, and we work together to make sure it stays that way. Even though we may not see it every day, slavery still exists in some parts of the world. So, it's essential to learn about it and speak up against it. It's important because regardless of where they are born, every child deserves to be safe, free, and able to follow their dreams. Together, we can create a world where no one has to experience the terrible injustice of slavery. #EndSlavery #ChildrensRights #UN #globalcitizens #shapingtheworld Read more about the Globeducate mission to prepare each student to become a global citizen who can shape the world. https://hubs.ly/Q02Z-0Ch0

At JUSTICE NEST, we believe that every child, including those in conflict with the law, deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and rebuild their lives. Children in conflict with the law are often products of systemic issues—poverty, lack of education, or unstable environments. But they are also young individuals full of potential, deserving of compassion and guidance rather than punitive measures alone. Our focus is on: Diversion and Rehabilitation: Providing children with the resources, counseling, and education to break the cycle. Restorative Justice: Encouraging healing, accountability, and reconciliation, rather than punishment. Community Support: Collaborating with families, educators, and social services to create a nurturing environment for these children. At Justice Nest, we stand for a system that recognizes children’s rights, protects their future, and treats them as the individuals they can become, not the mistakes they’ve made or the circumstances they find themselves. Let’s work together to create a justice system that empowers every child with the chance to rise above their past and thrive. Hurt often comes from where love should reside. Children deserve spaces to explore, learn, and grow without fear or harm. We must return to the days when the community raises the child, and predators are denied safe haven to harm them. More targeted and evidence-based interventions are needed to tackle cultural issues that cause people to become vile against children. We must reverse the culture of silence through education. We must mobilize communities to reject elements that harm children. Collective action is required to create safer communities for our children. Children need to be heard, not just seen, and their voices matter. #SafeSpacesForChildren #CommunitySupport #ProtectOurChildren #BreakTheSilence #EmpowermentThroughEducation #CollectiveAction #SaferCommunities #ChildrensVoicesMatter #EndChildHarm #NurtureAndProtect

Children should be free to learn, play, and simply be kids - not forced into labor that robs them of their childhood. Yet an estimated 160 million children worldwide are trapped in child labor, many in hazardous conditions. As a global community, we must take decisive action to #EndChildLabor and restore the fundamental rights and dignity of these young, vulnerable lives. It will take coordinated efforts at every level - from policy reform to community initiatives - to tackle the complex economic and social factors driving this injustice. Let's be a force for change and stand up for a world where all children can thrive. Their potential, their dreams, their futures depend on it. #ChildRights #HumanRights #SocialJustice #EndExploitation #ProtectChildhood #GlobalChange
