https://lnkd.in/d9HnyAR5 Click the link 👆 to donate or donate via Mpesa Paybill: 530500 Acc No- Donation Every gift of $9 (Ksh 1,170) helps one child receive therapy. Children in Kenya, just like other parts of the world, experience some aspects of life that cause trauma. Very often trauma experienced stems from separation/divorce, abandonment, sickness, violence and death in the family. The growing number of children experiencing violations of various forms, especially sexual exploitation, child labor, early marriages, threats of or actual female genital cut are left with marks that turn around their lives. The good part is that there is a growing number of children stepping forward seeking for help. Unfortunately, some of the children remain silent: locked up in a world that shut down for them with the experience. They need to be supported to live through the emotions, unlock the gates to their inner beauty in-order to thrive now and into their future. Counselling is not commonly programmed for children in our community, thus not accessible to majority of the children, especially those living in very vulnerable circumstances. Life Bloom operates with a pool of qualified counsellors ready and already holding up this project. Child Centered Art and Play Therapy approaches are used. Continued counsellor related up-skilling, debriefing and counsellor supervision will be part of the process. What remains is for some of the children to receive sponsorship for this life -changing transformative healing journey. This is the reason we come to you with a request: SPONSOR A CHILD WITH A CONTRIBUTION OF $9 (USD 9)/ Ksh 1,170. Gift one or more children and be part of celebrating Life Bloom@20 family! #donate #childtherapy #Counseling

Cognitive Development: Chronic malnutrition severely impairs brain development, leading to long-term cognitive deficits in children. Those affected often exhibit lower IQs, which negatively impacts their academic performance and limits future job prospects. This developmental setback not only hampers individual potential but also poses a broader socio-economic challenge, as a generation of children grow up unable to fully contribute to their communities and economies. Addressing malnutrition is crucial for fostering healthy cognitive development and ensuring brighter futures. -------------- Please donate today here https://buff.ly/3R6imxs Find out how you can make a difference: https://buff.ly/3auP9MO info@joyafrica.foundation #joyafricafoundation #givejoytoday #givejoyeveryday #charity #nonprofit #donate #love #fundraising #community #support #help #volunteer #giveback #donation #fundraiser #education #dogood #children #socialgood #givingback #donations #philanthropy #hope #makeadifference #charityevent #helpingothers #nonprofitorganization #childhoodpoverty #childreninpoverty #homelesschild #streetchildren #orphans

Caring for the Future: How We Can Help Orphans Thrive In a world full of abundance, countless children face life's hardships alone. Orphans, through no fault of their own, often bear the brunt of societal neglect. However, we have the power to change this narrative. By stepping up as a community, we can provide the care and support these children desperately need. From education and healthcare to emotional support and life skills, our involvement can turn the tide for their futures. Imagine a world where every orphaned child has a mentor, a safe place to call home, and access to opportunities that allow them to flourish. This vision is achievable if we commit to acting now. Let’s invest in these young lives by volunteering, donating, or simply spreading awareness. Together, we can make sure that every child receives care and every orphan can thrive. #HelpOrphansThrive #CommunityCare #FutureInvestment

"We need to show greater empathy toward the younger generation." Youth Worker & Founder of @wrldxyen, Joshua, discusses the #mentalhealth challenges facing young people today. As reported by @TrustforLondon, "3 in 4 young people experiencing mental health problems can't access the support they need." At Spiral Skills, we believe that empathy and action are essential in supporting young people through these difficulties. We’re fundraising to expand our one-to-one provision that supports emotional and mental well-being while also teaching the essential skills needed to navigate life confidently. Our goal is to provide more therapeutic support for youth workers and young people in high need. A donation of £20 can sponsor a one-to-one mentoring session, and a £50 donation will sponsor a therapeutic session for a young person in need. Join us in making a difference. Your support will empower young people to feel seen, understood, and equipped for the future. 👉 Find out more: https://lnkd.in/emuxTDi8 👉 Donate here: https://lnkd.in/euuZ456r #YouthEmpowerment #MentalHealthAwareness #CommunitySupport #EssentialSkills #SpiralSkills #EmpathyInAction #GivingTuesday
