A CPR kiosk? The jury is out! Increasing awareness about CPR is undoubtedly valuable, especially in critical settings like hospitals. While CPR kiosks can serve as a convenient tool for refreshing skills, I share the concern about the potential risk of peoples perception that it replaces proper training. In-person CPR training offers invaluable hands-on experience, scenario simulations, and guidance from certified instructors, which can't be entirely replicated by kiosks. It's essential to ensure that while integrating technology like CPR kiosks, we continue to prioritise comprehensive training programs to equip healthcare professionals and the public with the necessary skills and confidence to respond effectively in emergencies. Hopefully this initiative can complement existing training efforts and serve as a supplementary tool rather than a substitute. Looking forward to seeing how this innovation evolves in enhancing CPR awareness and preparedness. What are your thoughts? 🤔 #workplacetraining #firstaidtraining #CPR
🌟 What do you think about this? 🤔💬 A recent initiative at Bradford Royal Infirmary - the installation of a CPR kiosk designed to teach CPR skills in just 90 seconds! Do you believe that this innovative approach is a positive step towards promoting community health and empowering individuals to respond effectively during emergencies? Congress will soon decide funding levels for next year. The public strongly supports more funding for education and child care, and opposes cutting this funding. 🌟Do you know that the Labour Act, 2006 (Act) & Rules of 2015 is not applicable for certain organisations? 📌 NGOs Providing Care and Services: Section 1(4)(d) of the Act exempts Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), working for offering treatment, care, or services of the sick, disabled, aged, destitute, handicapped, orphaned, abandoned women or children, or widows, provided that they run not for profit. 📌Educational, Training, or Research Institutions: In line with Section 1(4)(g), educational, training, or research institutions are exempted if they operate without profit. 📌 Hostels, Mess, Hospitals, Clinics, and Diagnostic Centres: Under Section 1(4)(h), hostels, mess facilities, hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centers gain exemption when run for without profit or gain. Please note, under Sec.3 of the Act, while the Act does not apply to NGOs but the establishments (including NGOs) shall not make any policy, rule or house policy providing benefits less than the benefits provided in the Act. So, if an application/suit is filed at Labour Court against any of the exempted organizations, you should consider filing an early application under Order 7, Rule 11 of the CPC challenging the maintainability of the matter itself. If you have any insights or questions, feel free to drop them in the comments. Let’s keep learning together! #LabourLaws #NGOs #Education #Healthcare #LearningTogether
