Since 2006, June 15th has been designated as World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, reminding us of the importance of preventing elder abuse, particularly financial abuse. Equally important, though receiving less focus, is recovery. Financial fraud can have devastating impacts. Starting July 6th for families & allies and July 9th for victims, the nonprofit, Give an hour, is launching Financial Fraud Peer Support Groups to provide the support and connection needed.
