This week, we explored the latest insights from the 2024 State of Grantseeking™ Report, revealing valuable trends to elevate your grantseeking efforts. Here's a glimpse of what we discovered: 1. Non-government funders' median largest award averaged $42,500, while the Federal government's median award reached an impressive $615,000. Additionally, 67% of recipients received their awards within three months of notification. 2. Collaboration proved to be a winning strategy! Organizations engaging in collaborative grantseeking achieved a commendable 34% success rate in securing awards. 3. Despite challenges such as limited time and staffing resources, organizations employed strategic approaches such as staff reduction, volunteer utilization, and technology optimization to manage indirect and administrative costs effectively.
