Concerns About Physical Contact Addressing concerns about physical touch in childcare is crucial for creating safe and nurturing environments for children. While physical touch can be an essential aspect of caregiving, it also raises valid concerns regarding boundaries, consent, and child safety. Concerns about child abuse have sometimes led to the creation of rules that overly restrict carer's contact with children. For example" No tourch" policies are unfeasible and can give older children problematic standards for social interaction. Extreme limits on contact can lead to bad practice, making children worry about why they're not receiving warm and close care from adults. Physical contact restriction will also restrict carers from carrying out some responsibilities effectively. By acknowledging and addressing concerns about physical touch in childcare, we can create environments that prioritize the safety, well-being, and emotional development of children while also promoting healthy relationships and interactions between caregivers and children. Stay tuned to learn about appropriate tourch. I remain an advocate for children's well-being. #caregivingboundaries#childcaresafety.

If you're a Bravo fan you know that Summer 👏 Should 👏 Be 👏 Fun 👏. As a parent, navigating camp schedules can mean midday pick-ups and childcare gaps. To make this summer smoother for us parents and more enjoyable for our elementary-aged kids, my friends and I collaborated to create a system for collective child care. Using a Google Sheet, we coordinated who needed care and when, making scheduling a breeze. Check out the link in the comments if you're seeking a way to simplify your summer parenting and support fellow working parents. #summerparenting #workingparents

In 2020, your government was called on to increase the petty weekly allowance given to asylum-seeking children and relax the restrictions on the right to work for asylum seekers. It’s 2024 and none of that has been done. The poverty and exclusion experienced by children in the abhorrent system of Direct Provision has been documented since the day it was created and more recently by the Children’s Ombudsman. Your government is deliberately pushing asylum-seeking children onto the margins of Irish society. They go to the same schools as every child in #ireland and have the same needs. And your government restricts their parents ability to meet their ever growing needs. Humans and animals need more than food and shelter Minister Roderic O'Gorman . #humanrights #Asylumseekers #refugees #europe #eu #un #unitednations #europeanunion #geneva #dublin #irish #poverty
We know that the best way to tackle disadvantage is to tackle it as early as possible. That's why I'm so pleased to launch Equal Start today. Similar to the DEIS model in schools, Equal Start will ensure children experiencing disadvantage can access early learning and childcare. Supports will include more funding for staff time, funding for hot meals, and a new Family Community Liaison role. For full details: https://t.co/aSreo6HXLw
