Have you ever hired a designer to design icons? I was... My first internship was in 2019 as a graphic design intern, where I exclusively worked on icon design. While every intern's dream was to design something big and unique, I was given a brief that required me to create something small, simple, and easy to understand. That's what graphic design is all about... I believe in a quote that says, "If your design doesn't solve anything, your design is art." I realized during my internship that even a small dot or corner design can make a huge difference in the overall design. Every brief in design was different, but the agenda was the same: "We are facing this problem. Can you solve it with the new design?" It's like we are warriors in front of the laptop screen. This is the belief we carry. There are designers who know 10+ software and countless AI techniques to create something immersive. But when you create a design using Canva and it works wonders for your client, does that mean you are not a designer? A VERY BIG NOOOOOO.... - Your design can be beautiful or ugly. - Your design can be small or big. - Your design can have multiple colors, many effects, and glows. But if it does not convey what it must, then it's not a design. P.S.: My first internship office space. I always came early before anyone else for six months 🤣 What was your crazy story as an intern? ~~~~ 📌 Hi, I'm Tarun, I empower Tech Entrepreneurs/Founders to bring their vision to life. From visual identity to design system creation, I help to make better Visuals. 👉 DM "Branding" To know more! ♻️ Repost to help someone 🔔 Follow Tarun Panchal #tarunteller #designer #intern #internship

The myth that you need a degree to become a graphic designer is far from the reality of the design industry. While formal education in graphic design can provide valuable skills and knowledge, many successful designers have forged their careers without a traditional degree. The reality is that the design field values creativity, practical skills, and a strong portfolio over formal qualifications. To succeed as a graphic designer without a degree, focus on building a strong portfolio that showcases your skills and creativity. Gain hands-on experience through internships, freelance projects, or personal initiatives to develop a strong skill set. Networking and staying updated on industry trends are also crucial for success in the design field. While a degree can be beneficial, practical skills, a strong portfolio, and a passion for design are often more influential in establishing a successful career in graphic design. 🚀 #codener #uiux #uidesign #webdesign #websitemaintenance #softwarehouse #webdevelopment #webdeveloper #userexperience #userinterfacedesigner #uiuxinspiration #UserInterface #graphicdesigner #uiuxdesign #graphicdesigning #designerslife #graphic #business #graphicdesigners #graphicsdesign #uiuxtips #designinnovation

If you listen closely enough, your customers will explain your business to you....... "What if the final design does not meet my expectations?" This is one of the many alarming issues customers worry greatly about when considering investing their resources in graphic designs. For me, I strongly believe that graphic designers should work closely and intimately with their clients so that their needs are beautifully captured in the designs. At #JMSGraphyx, not long ago, we had the opportunity to design for a network, and we made sure to closely collaborate with them. We communicated frequently at every level and stage of the design process, allowing them to provide input on how they wanted their designs to look. By doing so, we delivered exactly what they wanted. I believe every graphic designer should have the patience to listen to their clients' needs, offer their professional opinions, and ensure clients get value for their resources. Do you think it is a good idea for graphic designers to take heed of their clients' needs? Let me hear from you in the comments section. PS:I am Minniehaha Aku Shika Bulley.
