Grace “Grace? She passed away 30 years ago.” What we miss the most is grace. We are usually pretty slow to offer grace to ourselves. However, if we did —life would be easier —we would learn quicker —we would grow faster That is all because we would be more ready to let go of shame and guilt in exchange for realigning with our values and moving forward. We offer grace to others and frequently don’t offer it to ourselves. Let us choose the better way today. CTA: In what areas of your life can you receive grace and release other things that don’t serve you well?

I hear it! We are our own harshest critics and often demand perfection. Grace is greater than any circumstance or failure.

First, the best Christmas movie!! I’ve never heard this idea of giving grace sooner so we can release Shane and guilt. Really appreciate this point. Thank you ❤️

What a powerful reminder about the importance of grace, especially towards ourselves. Embracing grace allows us to move forward with compassion and alignment with our values.

I am an educator who raised three children. My experiences as a mom taught me to offer parents compassion—not condemnation—when their children make unexpected choices. In some cases it’s “been there, done that.” In others it’s “there but for the grace of God go I.” Beautiful post, Chris.
