It was a historic weekend for Klotz Synthetic Lubricants at the 2024 SCCA Runoffs at Road America. For the first time in its seven decade history, the company had three Spec Racer Ford teams using its engine and gear lubricants. Not only did Denny Stripling, Dave Ogburn, and Russell Turner sweep the Top-3 positions in qualifying, but they also swept the podium at the end of the race! We could not have asked for a more perfect performance from these three drivers. (Dave delivered this outstanding finish in spite of a damaged left-rear suspension due to on-track contact.) Congratulations to Russell Ghent for making his second final round appearance of the season, this time at the NHRA doubleheader divisional at World Wide Technology Raceway in St. Louis. Russell was unable to get the win, but his runner-up finish propelled him into the Top-5 of the NHRA Southeast Division point standings. He has one more race at Rockingham Dragway and is within striking distance of the points lead.
