My collection machine: All compactable lightweight packaging such as PET bottles, metal cans, Tetrapaks, ... can only be pressed flat when the filling flap is closed. As soon as the hand lever is actuated, the filling flap can neither be opened nor closed. Thanks to the patented lever mechanism, the manual force can act on the lightweight packaging many times over, so that PET bottles in particular can be pressed so flat that they remain dimensionally stable. This self-closing safety filling flap can also largely prevent odours from escaping due to residual liquids in the collection bag.
