🌟 We’re delighted to announce the completion of a comprehensive technology review of the two pathways under consideration for the Speewah Vanadium Titanomagnetite Project in Western Australia. Our findings highlight the promising results from both the innovative TIVAN+ processing technology, developed in partnership with CSIRO, and conventional salt roast technology. Notably, both methods have shown excellent bench-scale performance for processing Speewah concentrate. Key updates include: 📌 Ongoing salt roast testwork aimed at producing vanadium electrolyte specification for Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries. 📌 A preliminary assessment of third-party interest in commercialising the TIVAN+ technology. 📌 Advancements in negotiations with government for a facilitation and funding agreement to develop a TIVAN+ Pilot Plant. Stay tuned for further updates in Q4 as we continue to refine our strategic direction in this area.

The next paper from my PhD has been finally published! We were looking at the change in the Co and Mn oxidation states of perovskite electrocatalysts during ORR and OER. Under operation in a unified regenerative fuel cell (URFC), bifunctional catalysts are subjected to very challenging conditions and we take a closer look at how the catalysts are affected. Additionally, I found that some of the activity loss experienced by LaxSr(1-x)MnO3 during operation can be recovered using sunlight. A huge thanks to my collaborators at PSI, EMPA, and DTU!
