In my travels, I have seen plenty of instances where loads requiring ventilation are either secured with expensive strapping and corner boards or not really contained with expensive hand film. There is another cost-effective solution; check out the latest article of Ask Steve. https://lnkd.in/e2eK4Y26

🎥 - Helping Broadcast, Video, Events & Creative producers effortlessly manage their equipment to avoid delays in production - 🚀
🫢 I never thought I'd be making videos for Youtube... 😱 Especially with my imposter syndrome telling me that it wouldn't be a good idea because English is not my first language. 🥸 Or it wouldn't be as nice without the moustache haha... 😍 But I'm loving this journey. 🤩 And it's so much more satisfying when you're talking about something you love. 🎥 In this new video Cheqroom aims to help creative producers in #videoproduction ; #eventsproduction and #broadcasting. 🫣 How many times have you traveled to location for a shoot or event and realized that you left an important piece of gear behind? 🫢 Or after the shoot, you drive back to the office and... you left something on set? 📝 In this video I show you how to build an effective equipment packing list to help you make sure that no gear is left behind. 👇 Check it out and feel free to share your feedback. 😊 https://lnkd.in/ebqdYiip

Quality Over Compromise Every now and then, the road of production splits into the ‘Compromising short route’ and the ‘Quality route.’ While the former promises a quick and easy output, the later assures results! & even when pushed by extremities, it’s always the ‘Quality Route,’ for it’s important to sustain the quality of work. #QualityOverCompromise #AimForBest #Filmmakingprocess #ProductionHouse #PurpleFlicks

Any Packaging Managers in my network trying to use perforated stretch film on a fully automatic wrapper? I came across this classic issue recently, where the film splits on the roll, but the wrapper carries on wrapping. This very quickly makes a mess of the stretch head, and can take the operator many minutes to untangle, all the while the production line is stopped. The good news is that you don't have to put up with it, Lindum have perforated films that actually works on fully auto wrappers. DM me if you'd like to discuss #productionefficiency #stretchfilm #plasticwaste

Why Replace Pre-Stretch Rollers? Have you ever seen pre-stretch represented as a percentage and wondered ‘What does that really mean?’ If you are just getting familiar with pallet wrap lingo, you might not know what it means when a stretch wrapper boasts “variable pre-stretch up to 450%” or why that is such a great feature. When a stretch wrapper is used to apply stretch film to a pallet, the film is elongated using a pre-stretch carriage on a wrapper. The film gets pulled between the rollers, thus stretched prior to being applied to the load. This is called pre-stretch. Why is this important?

What an excellent video and such an important message: https://lnkd.in/eytv9xr2 I'm sure all of us have taken one or two shortcuts in the past and hopefully we all carried on without incident - but it only takes that one time and we never know when it will happen until it does. The simple solution? Don't risk taking a shortcut (however tempting, however unlikely it will result in an accident) - We know and see how tempting it is to miss out or skip through completing your pre-use checks (whether that be a vehicle, a ladder or anything in-between) but if you skipped it this morning (I mean it was raining so why get wet checking the tyres on your car) and you got to work without a blow out then the temptation will be there to do the same tomorrow, and the day after etc. From a management POV they can analyse how long each step of an inspection is taking and if a checklist is completed too quickly (or not at all) then it can be easily spotted and additional training offered - maybe show them this video to remind them it only takes one time to change their lives for ever!

We are buried in the daily grind...navigating complex challenges like safety audits, OSHA regulations, and production deadlines. 📋 Unfortunately, operators often get caught in the middle, torn between two competing priorities: Safety vs. Production. 📈 And these departments? They’re giving conflicting instructions to meet their own goals. 💡 Ever walk the plant and catch an operator using a “rigged” blow gun that 'helps' to meet production goals? 🙈 I’ve seen it too many times. The pressure to get parts out, meet specs, and do it ASAP often leads to unintentional risky modifications, sometimes right under the safety manager’s nose! 🗣️ Here’s the key: Build a relationship with operators. 👉 Allow time for conversation 👉 Understand their challenges 👉 Find safe alternatives that actually work You 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 gain their trust and they will go to you instead of hiding from you. 🗣𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻'𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂. (𝑎𝑝𝑜𝑙𝑜𝑔𝑖𝑒𝑠 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑠ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑖𝑠 𝑖𝑚𝑝𝑜𝑟𝑡𝑎𝑛𝑡🙂) P.S.
