Why a senior engineering manager at a leading 3PL owes me a pint 🍺 I caught up with a regular customer who informed me they do have an open position in their team, but they were going to find someone themselves from their network It’s a pretty common scenario I advised the individual that even before the upcoming extension and AMR install, they are already working 50 hours a week. Headhunting the right for your team isn’t just a “spare time” task I explained that even if you have the network, it takes hours out of your day to screen, quality and interview potential candidates Using a recruiter, you do not only have access to their network - but also saving time so you can do the important stuff We jokingly agreed at the start he would buy me a pint if the role was still open in 3 months Shall I go for a Peroni or Guinness? #headhunting #logistics #3PL

My Coffee Machine broke! I'd only had it 7 months. You don't pay good money for something to break so quickly. Luckily the manufacturer, De'Longhi Group, offers a 2 year warranty where they will either fix or replace the machine. They sent a courier to collect the machine, kept us updated with the progress while it was being fixed, and then sent it back to us via courier. I was 2.5 weeks without bean to cup coffee 😱 BUT I can't complain about this great service! 👏👏 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝘀𝗸, 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹... At Stanley Cowton International, we also believe that when you pay for a premium service you should get a fair warranty. That's why we don't offer a 90 day rebate period on candidates we place.
