MBA Student ’26 | Aspiring HR Professional | Leadership Enthusiast | Extroverted and People-Centric | Public Speaker | President of Rotaract Club Bangalore Golden Rock | Reader | Exploring New Ideas and Opportunities
Reflecting on a Rollercoaster Journey 🎢 Grateful for a journey that brought tears and laughter, taught invaluable lessons and shaped me in unexpected ways. This 6 month ride as Vice President at Rotaract Club of AIMS has been more than a position, it's been a life-altering experience. Lessons learned on this odyssey: Lesson 1: In this rollercoaster, I've learned that expectations, when carefully calibrated, open doors to joy. Set them wisely and embrace the surprises life unfolds. Lesson 2: Amidst glittering opportunities, lesson two echoes loud-appearances deceive. Discerning authenticity from allure is an art , master it with wisdom. Lesson 3: Even in intellect's brilliance, the journey cautioned against overconfidence. Smartness, a double-edged sword, can lead astray. Stay grounded, stay humble. Lesson 4: This chapter underscored the importance of trust, but not everyone is deserving. Treat all with respect, but let trust be earned, not freely given. Lesson 5: Mistakes are not failures but stepping stones. Each misstep a lesson etched in the narrative of growth. Acknowledge, learn, evolve and never repeat. Lesson 6: Amidst the learnings, one stands tall-self-respect is non-negotiable. Never let it bow in the face of anyone or anything. Uphold your standards unapologetically. These lessons, like threads woven into the fabric of my being, are my compass in the journey ahead. Gratitude fills my heart for the opportunity given by Rotaract Club of AIMS , not just as a role but as a guide to self-discovery. Excitement pulses through me as I look to the horizon, ready for the continuation of this remarkable journey! #life #lessonslearned #professionaldevelopment #gratitude #lessonsinleadership #selfimprovement #selfdevelopment #rotaractclub #journeyofdiscovery #journeyoflife #learningjourney #thankful #thankyouforyoursupport

In the early years of your profession, you must learn and acquire skills to get the job done. Just like to cross the pond, you need to know how to swim. In the middle of your career, you must learn how to keep your team in the same boat on the same page, because to cross the river, you need to know how to drive the boat. In the leading phase of your career, it is quite essential to determine the direction, speed, objectivity, and obstacles. For example, when crossing the ocean, you need to know how to steer the ship and in which direction. #pathofprofession

Kathryn’s Thoughts on AdventureX "The trip as a whole was just incredible. Setting it up as a mystery adds even more excitement. Greenland is a place which very few people have visited or even live. Every day was something different and unique. Spending time travelling and forming a connection with not only the environment you’re in but with the group I’ve been a part of is the biggest takeaway for me that I will ponder and think differently about how I approach these type of adventures in the future. I’d hugely value the opportunity to come back because I think this is an environment that’s going to change in the coming years. Matt and Chris are both incredible individuals, both unique in their own respects. I think they complement each other really well. We’ve spent a lot of time not only out doing some physically challenging things but we’ve also spent time pondering from an intellectual and spiritual perspective and they bring a well rounded and balanced perspective through both of their personalities. It’s incredible to see some of the individual paths that they’ve been on in their own lives and they’ve been very open and transparent in sharing and I’ve really respected and appreciated that. The other thing that stands out for me is that although they’ve been the organisers of the trip and in some respects, leaders, they’ve never actively taken a leadership role or authority of the group. We’ve really gelled together and they’ve seen themselves as much participants as leaders which is quite unique. For others interested in doing an adventure like this, I think just dive in. There’s obviously quite a lot of mystery to what you’re signing up to. We’ve talked a lot about operating from the head and the heart and the gut. If your heart and gut are saying yes this is something that I want to step into and challenge myself, I would say just go for it and let the mystery unfold as it does along the way." #adventurex #greenland #adventure #nature #travel #wild #Wilderness #adventurexreview #arcticcircle #arctic #perspective #conversations #connecting #clarity #iceland #adventuremastermind #experiences #journey #connection #adventuretestimonial

Sales, Mindset & Presenting Coach l Founder of CreativeMind Training l Global In-house & Virtual training l Open courses in Bristol
What a weekend of highs and lows (literally)! My husband Cormac and I adventured to tackle Pen y Fan in Wales, and let me tell you, it was quite the journey! On our first attempt, we were greeted with the full force of Welsh weather - think SAS training conditions! Even though it was almost May, it was a whiteout, with icy snow whipping at us, making every step feel like a battle against the elements. Despite our determination, it became evident that safety had to come first, so we made the tough call to turn back. We were gutted, but looking back, it was the right decision. We wouldn't have seen the ridges and the falls if we had continued blindly. But here's the thing about setbacks - they're just opportunities for a comeback! The next day, armed with optimism and a renewed sense of determination, we set off once again. And oh, what a difference a day makes! The sun was shining, the sky was clear, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. It was as if nature itself was rewarding our perseverance. Reflecting on this experience, I'm reminded of a few key learnings: 1️⃣ Resilience pays off: No matter the obstacles we face, perseverance and resilience can lead us to great heights (literally and figuratively!). 2️⃣ Flexibility is key: Sometimes, our plans don't unfold as expected, but staying adaptable and open to new opportunities can lead to even better outcomes. 3️⃣ Safety first: As much as we crave adventure, it's crucial to prioritize safety above all else. Knowing when to push forward and when to step back is a skill in itself. Overall, climbing Pen y Fan was not just a physical challenge, but a lesson in resilience, adaptability, and safety. And having Cormac by my side made every step of the journey that much more rewarding. Here's to many more adventures together! Who's up for the next challenge? #AdventureTime #PenYFan #Resilience #SafetyFirst #WeekendVibes 🌄👫
