Disregarding all the ease provided by Object-Relational Mappers, among which Hibernate can be underlined as a very reliable option, a straightforward way to address such a situation is to build a SQL SELECT query and bind all identifiers as a comma-delimited list of expressions in combination with a SQL IN operator.
