Energy Sector | Green Transition | Strategy | Commercial Due Diligence

To all PtX enthusiast   We see a growing focus and interest in the PtX and hydrogen markets among our clients, both domestically and globally. PA's Energy and Utilities team collaborates with a diverse range of private and public sector actors in this field, leveraging our extensive expertise.   Unique Opportunities in the Nordic Region: The Nordic region holds a unique position in this sector. It benefits from low power prices, strong political support, and ambitious renewable goals. The region also has favorable conditions for renewable power and access to biogenic CO2 used in production of e.g. e-methanol and e-SAF. With Denmark aiming for 90% renewable electricity in the grid towards 2030, the PtX facilitates can also be connected directly to the grid for production of renewable hydrogen. These factors create significant business opportunities, not only in Denmark but across the Nordic region.   Critical Years Ahead: The upcoming years are crucial for accelerating the development of PtX and integrated energy systems. From a Danish perspective, numerous initiatives are underway, including offshore wind tenders, CCUS tenders, and the establishment of plans for hydrogen infrastructure with connections to Germany. If realized, Denmark stands to gain a unique position and the opportunity to become a market leading country.   PA's Expertise: PA offers extensive insight into the energy sector including PtX, and we are keen to engage with clients on this topic. For those interested in learning more about hydrogen and its derivatives, our experts David Sanders and Salem Esber will be hosting a webinar on February 29, 2024.
