Unless you're speaking the language that your customers use in their day to day operations, you're going to you're going to seem like an outsider and they're not going to trust you. Do the work up front to to set the strategy, the strategic messaging, get your position and get the competitive messages right and understand what your customers or what your prospects are really saying about the challenges that they face.

One of the reasons we do not match with our clients is due to differences in our approaches and understanding of some fundamental concepts. It's important to recognize these differences early on because they can significantly impact the outcome of our work, whether it's full-time employment, contract, or consulting work. This happened to me lately. We didn’t proceed with the project as we had different vision for the growth. I think that’s great when both sides can admit that it's not a match 😃 Personally, I have a strong set of principles and a clear vision for growth. Growth, to me, is not just about increasing engagement through marketing or push notifications. It's much more than that. In my conversations, I've noticed that many people primarily associate growth with customer acquisition, rarely including onboarding strategies aimed at getting customers to make their first payment. While these tactics can increase revenue in the short term, especially if the Customer Acquisition Cost to Lifetime Value ratio is favorable and the payback period is short, they don't tell the whole story. To achieve sustainable growth, it's essential to focus on retention initiatives. This approach may seem like a long game, and the results may not be immediate, but it's necessary for long-term success. What are your thoughts on this?
