When a company combines influencer marketing & social media into one role, it's a major red flag 🚩 These two roles seem similar, but they require two separate skill sets that need to be managed separately. Dear Agencies that are Hiring: Start breaking out your Influencer vs Social Media Roles. They DO go hand in hand but are VASTLY different in roles, responsibilities and tasks. Asking someone (no matter how skilled they are) to manage both is going to shoot you in the foot when that new hire becomes burnt out trying to oversee it all. #agencies #creativeagencies #creators #influencermarketing #influencers #marketingtips

Agreed! It dilutes the effectiveness of Influencer and Social Media which leads to missed opportunities. Each role requires a unique skill set and dedicated team / person to handle the responsibilities in order to leverage the full power of influencer marketing and social media.
