I love when things I’ve said in conversation pop up in the wild. Especially when it’s not exactly how I said them either. That means someone has taken what I was talking about, and internalised it. They’ve really got it! Had that joy last week when @Michael Basagre was talking about his recent foray into consistently blogging. He explained that it was helping him to create value from another perspective, which is just what we had talked about thought leadership as being. Thought leadership takes your ideas further and wider – that’s where it overlaps with content marketing. But it’s more than that; it’s also about contribution. It enables you to have a bigger impact than you can through the work that you’re already doing day-to-day. It enables you to provide value in a different way – and sometimes to commercialise your expertise in another way. The scope of our day-to-day work is likely limited – by calendar capacity, size of our team and so on. Thought leadership increases the impact of your ideas. I’d love to hear where that has been true with you for your thought leadership. Or whether this is one of your thrusts behind doing this journey? #thoughtleadership #betterthinking #reluctantthoughtleader
I think it's a hige driver for me to be on here and connecting with all these amazing people to inspire but also to be inspired through our voice, Videos and posts! It like having a conversation in your living room with your favourite cup of coffee / tea just with alot more people! I find that so powerful!
Thanks for the sharing and the tag Christina 🙏🏽 so important to be able to develop our value proposition and grow through different avenues.
